General Terms and Conditions (GTC)
1. Scope
These General Terms and Conditions (GTC) apply to all orders placed by consumers (B2C) through the online shop of Matos Liceia Home. Other language versions are provided for convenience. The version of these GTC in the language of the order shall be binding.
2. Offer and Conclusion of Contract
The presentation of products in the online shop does not constitute a legally binding offer. It is a non-binding invitation to place an order. A contract is concluded only upon express acceptance by Matos Liceia Home (e.g. order confirmation by email).
3. Prices and Payment Terms
All prices are in Swiss francs (CHF). Prices are exclusive of VAT. Matos Liceia Home is not subject to VAT in accordance with Art. 10 para. 2 lit. a of the Swiss VAT Act (MWSTG). Shipping costs are charged separately (see Shipping Conditions). Accepted payment methods (via Shopify Payments): Credit card, TWINT, Apple Pay, and Google Pay.
4. Right of Withdrawal / Returns
Customers in the European Union have a statutory right of withdrawal. Details can be found in the Return and Refund Policy.
5. Warranty
The statutory warranty under the Swiss Code of Obligations (OR) applies. Damages caused by improper use or failure to follow care instructions are excluded.
6. Liability
Matos Liceia Home is liable only for damages caused intentionally or by gross negligence. Any further liability is excluded to the extent permitted by law.
7. Applicable Law
Swiss law applies, excluding the UN Convention on Contracts for the International Sale of Goods (CISG). Mandatory consumer protection provisions of the customer’s country of residence remain unaffected.
8. Severability Clause
If any provision of these GTC is or becomes invalid, the validity of the remaining provisions shall remain unaffected.
